Fuel the movement to end gun violence.

If you’ve just watched AMERICA, you’ve stepped into a story that asks difficult, urgent questions about gun violence, accountability, and the futures we’re building for young people in this country.

At March For Our Lives Foundation, we work to ensure those questions don’t end when the credits roll. We turn awareness into action by equipping young people with the tools, platforms, and support to challenge the systems that allow gun violence to persist.

AMERICA tells a story about how quickly lives can change. Our work is about changing what comes next.

"Days before a school tragedy strikes, a single mother's effort to relocate her family in search of a better future is unknowingly racing against time".

Starring Kim Berrios and Marc Geller

Written and Directed by Laura New

Executive Produced by Vanessa Hudgens

Our Story

America follows Valerie, a single mother who refuses to break. Determined to give her children, Daniel and Georgia, a better life on the West Coast, she pushes forward against all odds. But on the eve of their move, tragedy strikes. A school shooting shatters their world, forcing Valerie to confront an unthinkable question: Are her children victims… or perpetrators?
Our short film is a raw and urgent exploration of resilience, sacrifice, and a mother’s fierce love. America lays bare the devastating reality of gun violence and its ripple effects on families and schools in America.
